Scratch Massive “Broken English” soundtrack Review – Commotion Records

Story of a 30ish woman (Parker Posey) who seems destined to ever find true love, finds its when she least expects it…

While the movie sort of meanders around, the score by Scratch Massive (aka Maud Geffray and Sebastien Chenut) is pretty damn tasty if you’re into techno DJs…they do a wonderful job in both laying down effective background tuneage but also clever enough to mold thier music to fit the mood,be it emotional “In the Dressing Room” or dance pop as in the aptly titled ‘Dance”.

There are a few other other artists popping up in here as well…Juan Trip chips in 3 tunes that also blend in very well and the cover of Marianne Faithfull’s “Broken English” by Gaffrey and Chenut is a delightful way to end this soundtrack…

Recommended.
